Intensive Couples Therapy Institute
Creating standards for the new standard in couples therapy
The traditional 50 minute session isn’t enough.
Couples therapy requires lengthy assessment and time enough to respond to issues and support couples as they work through them in real time. Doing this is challenging within the traditional therapy model. Couples can’t wait four weeks just to finish an assessment, new issues arise between sessions, and it’s hard to help a couple practice new skills in session when there isn’t enough time.
Intensive Couples Therapy is the answer.
Through the use of thorough assessment, enactments, skill building, and enough time couples can get to the root of their issues and begin to create lasting change or make important decisions.
